One of the most complex public projects the artist ever set up, making a visual connection between art and society. In the middle of the favelas of this Brazilian metropolis, he built a wooden replica \u0026ndash; on a scale 1/3 \u0026ndash; of the Flemish modernist villa of the cigar manufacturer Wintermans from Balen, putting it at the disposal of the nearby residents for setting up a school. Het gaat om een van de meest complexe publieke projecten die de kunstenaar ooit opzette om visuele verbindingen te maken tussen kunst en maatschappij. Als onderdeel van dit project bouwde hij middenin de favela\u0026rsquo;s van de Braziliaanse grootstad een houten replica \u0026minus; op schaal 1/3 \u0026minus; van de Vlaamse modernistische villa van de sigarenfabrikant Wintermans uit Balen, en stelde die ter beschikking van de omwonenden met als doel er een school in onder te brengen.
