They represent the hollow space within a fist, a bodily camera obscura. The word itself is a combination of the Russian words pustota (void) and kulak (fist) and refers to nomadic wanderings through one’s inner space, an exploration which occupied Khalfin throughout his professional and personal life.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRustam Khalfin started to develop the concept of \u003ci\u003epulota\u003c/i\u003e in the 1990s.
