Ook hier in \u003cem\u003eMini Manager\u003c/em\u003e\u0026nbsp;maakt ze sculpturale abstracties van huiselijke bedieningspaneeltjes van bijvoorbeeld de centrale verwarming, het alarm of het nieuwste domoticasysteem. De objecten worden ontdaan van hun oorspronkelijke uiterlijk en functie en krijgen een egale witte laag. In de realiteit worden bedieningspanelen als deze liefst zo ver mogelijk uit het zicht weggestopt, hoewel ze toch noodzakelijk zijn in ons leven. McBride wil de functie van de panelen onderzoeken, juist door ze in haar werk te verbergen. Laat onze verbeelding toe er onmiddellijk een nieuwe functie aan te geven of associ\u0026euml;ren we deze witte sculpturen alleen maar met het bedieningspaneeltje voor de verwarming?
